Despite all of the uncertainty surrounding us at the moment we would still like to hold our annual charity event. We are hoping it will be a celebration of our emergence from the pandemic, but we just don't know at this point. All we do know is it will look very different from past years. In order to keep everybody safe, we will limit numbers, eliminate the sit-down dinner and put other protocols in place to minimize risk. We still want everybody to have a good time and raise money for a very worthy cause, so please sign up and bear with us - no doubt we will be working with a moving target right up until the last minute. 

 

If you don't feel comfortable joining us, we understand, but please consider making a donation below, and check out the online auction, once it is in place.

 

Our goal is to have another amazing track experience while raising money for Childhelp, an incredible charitable organization whose goal is to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. Childhelp focuses their efforts on advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach. You can find out more about Childhelp here.

 

Given the extraordinary circumstances around this year's event, the day, which will include a light breakfast and lunch, will be available for a donation of $650 (Apex members are eligible for a discounted rate of $350 upon request*, but of course we would appreciate the full donation). Non-driving guests are also welcome for a $150 donation. At this point we do not plan to have a sit down-dinner and auction at the end of the day, but beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for all al fresco once we are off-track.

We do hope to have an online auction again this year, so you do not have to be present to bid on the great items. You may also bid in person on the day.

What to expect the day of the event, October 17th:

Your day at Apex Motor Club with SportTruckRV and Track Rekord will include:

• The art of high-performance driving
• Vehicle dynamics with open-air, socially-distanced classroom sessions
• Lead-follow
• Hot laps
• Open lapping
• One-on-one coaching
• In-car video
• Film and photography

What to bring:

Each driver will be required to bring the following:

• A car
• Driver and guest helmets (we will have a limited number of helmets available for loan)
• A willingness to have a great time

As always:

We will finish the day with drag racing. 

 

Note:

Every driver and guest assumes responsibility for fuel costs, travel costs, lodging and consumables and must register ahead of time. Drivers must be at least eighteen years of age to participate.
